Anagha Farkade | Jharkhand Fellow

Anagha, hailing from Nagpur, has a masters degree in Social Work and has worked extensively both in the academic realm and on the field. She has been closely associated with a diverse range of research topics and specializes in Urban-Rural And Tribal Community Development. She has experience working with government bodies such as ICDS Centres, Labour Welfare Centres, Navjivan Society, etc. Her work has given her a close understanding of sensitive issues associated with women including, but not limited to, unemployment, Domestic Violence, illiteracy, etc. It was while she was working with HIV patients that she got to know about the Period Fellowship and she realized that it would be a good opportunity to reach out to adolescent girls on a mass scale and create awareness and at the same time work on her leadership skills and develop herself on a personal scale as well.
